RS1600 BDA

The car that spawned the Ralley Sport department at Ford and created a legacy spanning half a century.

Fully restored to exacting period specification and with less than 50 miles covered, this is a chance to own a museum worthy condition example of Ford's original Rallye Sport.

Curators View

This is an original Maize Yellow RS1600 BDA. Build number 40, with extensive history and a no expense spared, full nut and bolt restoration that took place between 2015-18. With just 59k miles, and 5 miles since restoration, this is a spectacular example of the original fast ford.

The car has further benefitted from new spark plugs in June 2023 and drives and runs as if it had just left the factory.
